Be a Better Parent Challenge - Day 4 - Get down on their level
This is a good one! Usually when they are in trouble and I'm punishing them, I do get on their level, tell them their behavior is not acceptable and then put them in time out. But, I am not very good about getting down on their level when just talking to them directly. I wont be able to put this into action much with my two since they have a habit of rambling on and all it needs is an "ok" or "uh huh". If I bent down every time I said one of those, I'd have a sore back for sure.
