My little man is 2 months old today! He's getting big.. fast! I want to say he's a little over 12lbs now. He goes to the doctor on the 26th and will get FOUR shots :( I'm sure it'll make me cry hearing him scream at the top of his lungs.
Willie got the 2nd coat of paint on the girls room today. Just needs the middle color and their room can go back to normal. I think it's going to look good when it's done. They'll love it atleast.
We had chicken parmegan today for dinner. We talked about forcing the kids more frequently to atleast try what we are having. Kayliana took a bite of it and ate a few more bites. But, we had to name it "Chicken Nugget Pizza" for her to eat it. I made Addison try it after encouraging a bit more and she ate it too. I am proud of them.
Yesterday when we left my mother in laws house with the girls, I told Kayliana and Addison that this weekend we were going to see Aunt Kim and Uncle Lee. She yelled with excitement "I like Uncle Lee and Aunt Kim's house. And Erin will be there too! I like Uncle Lee, and Aunt Kimmy and I really like Erin." Too cute!
Then just today, there was a picture of my niece on the night stand and out of curiosity, since it's been awhile since we've seen my brother, sister in law and niece, I asked her who it was. She said very quickly "Haley!" Then she said "That's my sister" LOL! I told her it was her cousin and she looked at me like I was crazy. Kids are so funny!
Tomorrow, I want to manage to try to get these picture orders together. Willie will be gone all day tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see how much I'm capably of getting done with 2 demanding children and a clingy baby. Looks like he'll be in the sling a lot tomorrow!
This week has been pretty busy. I had a photoshoot on Tuesday and it went pretty well but I missed the window of opportunity to get the 2 little cousins together. I had them come back today. I hate when my clients are disappointed, even if it's out of my control, so I'll do everything I can to make them happy. Today went ok. It's always hard to get 2 kids at the same time, especially when both are under 2yrs old. The mom is amazing to work with though. I really love her as a client and would love for her to come back when her daughter turns a year old since I've done her newborn and 6month portraits thus far.
After the session, we dropped the kids off at the mother in law's house and Willie and I came back to the house to paint the girls room. It's only about 30% done. We have another coat of paint to do, and then the decorating comes next. I've got decals for their room and I need to get their 16x20 prints for their room so that I can hang them up on their wall in their room.
But, I've been up earlier than I'm used to the past few days and I'm wore out. I should really be able to fall asleep much quicker than I do, but that just doesn't seem to be happening. Insomnia absolutely SUCKS! We have plans this weekend too so it's gonna be a really busy few weeks before we leave for Florida. I don't think our lives will become boring again until November.. lol! I think every week/weekend is jam packed full of stuff from now til the end of October.

My never-ending task! I tried catching up on laundry this day. Laundry is NEVER complete in my house. We never have less than 2 loads of laundry to do everyday. There's a boo boo on this picture. It says it's day 24 but it's day 23. Have to go back and fix that.

Started painting the girls room yellow and pink. The blue line is the tape. When it's removed, we'll paint a light pink in the middle. It's going to be one bright room, but I think once it's all together, it'll be pretty and match their bedding really well.
